AML3D (ASX:AL3) said it received a AU$4.5 million order for two custom ARCEMY systems from HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
AML3D expects the system to be installed and operational during the second quarter of 2026.
HII, the largest military shipbuilder in the US, seeks to integrate AML3D's additive manufacturing into its technology suite to expedite lead times and provide alternatives to traditional manufacturing techniques, per the filing.
Its shares rose almost 1% in early trading on Monday.
