The Federal Court of Australia has dismissed an application by former Keybridge Capital (ASX:KBC) executive Nicholas Francis John Bolton to bring the proceedings on behalf of the company, according to a Friday ruling by the Court.
Bolton had applied for leave to bring a derivative action on behalf of the company against Kirant Regional Media Investments and Frank Catalano after having started the proceeding without the company's authorization and without prior court approval, per the court document.
The Court also ordered Bolton to pay the company's legal costs.
