Kinetiko Energy (ASX:KKO) said continued gas flow testing delivered significant gas volumes from both production test wells 271-KA03PT10 and 271-KA03PT06 in South Africa, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The wells produced a total gas volume of nearly 8 million cubic feet of gas. The well 271-KA03PT10 did not show a detectable fall after 40 days of continuous flow testing, and it produced a total gas volume of 3,522 thousand standard cubic feet at an average of 91 thousand standard cubic feet per day.
The well 271-KA03PT06 started to decline but remained steady after 27 days of continuous flow testing and produced a total gas volume of 4,432 Mscf at an average of 164 Mscfd.
Information from the extended flow tests will be used to model the economics of each production cluster and feasibility studies, per the filing.
