Sapphire Foods India (NSE:SAPPHIRE, BOM:543397) widened its consolidated attributable loss to 127.7 million Indian rupees in the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 against a loss of 30.4 million rupees a year ago.
Loss per share came in at 0.40 rupees compared with the loss per share of 0.10 rupees a year earlier, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the quick service restaurants operator.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q2, however, increased to 7.42 billion rupees from 6.96 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
