1053 ET - Tractor Supply is well-positioned for a good performance this quarter, DA Davidson analyst Michael Baker says. The analyst sees four key trends driving optimism for the company in 3Q: profit margins are improving, sales are benefiting from inflation rather than being hurt by deflation, the company is holding its own against Amazon and managing to compete well and internal initiatives that are delivering results. Backed by these factors, DA Davidson is maintaining its buy rating and keeps a $70 target price on the stock, a premium valuation "which we think is justified given the comp acceleration and likely margin acceleration in 2026."
