Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) encountered high-grade copper-gold intersections during ongoing resource and infill drilling at the Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The intersections included 9 meters at a 1.9% grade of copper and 0.5 grams per tonne grade of gold from 129 meters, as well as 25 meters at a 1.8% grade of copper from 89 meters.
The drilling is continuing across the system for both stope definition and resource growth, focusing on the Nugent, Spitfire, and deeper Kavanagh zones, the filing said.
Hillgrove Resources' shares fell nearly 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
