Prospera Energy Inc. has announced the start of a major pipeline replacement and infrastructure upgrade project in the Cuthbert area. The initiative involves a $500,000 investment to replace two aging composite pipelines with corrosion-resistant FlexSteel material, enhancing water injection and reservoir management capabilities. The upgrade is expected to increase waterflood injection capacity by 2,500-3,500 m³ per day, bringing the total field capacity to approximately 6,700 m³ per day. A third water injection pump will also be installed at the Cuthbert 2-2 battery. These improvements are projected to add about 150 barrels of oil per day in incremental production, supporting Prospera's strategy for sustained production growth and operational reliability.
