TBI Motion Technology's (TPE:4540) unit TBI Motion Technology (Suzhou) received a civil judgment in a trademark infringement case filed by Zhejiang Jinri Transmission Technology.

The Haishu District People's Court of Ningbo City ruled against the subsidiary, , according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The machine industry company said the unit plans to appeal the ruling, and has appointed legal counsel to handle the proceedings.

TBI Motion Technology (Suzhou) will determine the financial impact after the final judgment, it said.
