1213 ET - Apple's new iPhone 17 runs fastest on T-Mobile's network, a key driver for the cell carrier's 3Q results, incoming CEO Srini Gopalan says during an appearance on CNBC. The new model runs 90% faster on T-Mobile's network than that of one of its benchmark competitors and 40% faster than the other competitor, Gopalan says. "That's why you're seeing people flocking to T-Mobile with the new iPhone," he says. "The iPhone's been a big driver to our latest quarter."(kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
