Capral (ASX:CAA) said it welcomes Australia's Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science Tim Ayres' decision to continue anti-dumping measures on aluminium extrusions imported from China, following the release of the final report from the Anti-Dumping Commission, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company noted that the decision confirms that measures will continue for a further five years and represents a modest strengthening of existing arrangements.
"The continuation of anti-dumping measures recognises the need for fair competition and a level playing field for Australian manufacturers," said Chief Executive Tony Dragicevich.
