Cordlife (SGX:P8A) provided clarifications over certain media reports regarding its cord blood banking service license matters, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Regarding a release made by the Ministry of Health, the company said that while 160 cord blood units were collected since January this year and the ministry did not state that all were affected by process failures.
Meanwhile, the company said that while it had been granted an extension of time by the MOH from Oct. 13 to submit written representations to avoid its license getting suspended, suspension will be under consideration based on representations.
