Canadian National Railway (CNI) said Monday it appointed Patrick Whitehead as chief operating officer and Janet Drysdale as chief commercial officer, starting immediately.

Whitehead's appointment follows departure of Derek Taylor, Canadian National Railway said.

Whitehead was named the company's chief network operating officer in October 2023, while Drysdale has been serving as chief commercial officer on an interim basis since July, according to a statement.
