First REIT's (SGX:AW9U) subsidiary, Graha Pilar Sejahtera, agreed on a short-term lease of Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang with East Jakarta Medika, a unit of PT Lippo Karawaci (IDX:LPKR), according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the REIT were down nearly 2% in Tuesday trading.

The extension is for six months from Dec. 31, with the pro-rated rent set at SG$2.3 million.

East Jakarta is bound to maintain a security deposit equivalent to three months' rent for the extended period.
