Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) started procuring critical mining and processing equipment for its Estelle starter antimony mining operations and associated downstream antimony refinery at Port Mackenzie, Alaska, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

All equipment is scheduled for delivery in the coming months before being transported to the site via the snow road in January 2026, the filing said. The first production of military-grade antimony trisulfide is targeted for 2026 to 2027.

The equipment purchases include two ore sorters, with one of these to be installed at the Whiskey Bravo camp to process stibnite ore stockpiled during the current field season, the filing said. The second ore sorter will be located at the proposed Port MacKenzie refinery site to potentially upgrade feedstock from other prospective antimony offtake sources.

Nova Minerals' shares fell almost 9% in recent trading on Tuesday.
