Sotherly Hotels (SOHO) said Monday it has agreed to be acquired by a joint venture between Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners affiliates and Ascendant Capital Partners for $2.25 per share in cash.

Shares of Sotherly jumped 134% as trading volume catapulted to over 9.8 million from a daily average of about 186,000.

Avidity Biosciences (RNA) agreed to be acquired by Novartis (NVS) for $72 per share, valuing Avidity at about $12 billion, the companies said.

Shares of Avidity soared 43% as intraday trading volume advanced to more than 53.9 million from a daily average of about 3.06 million.

Click (CLIK) shares soared 73% amid heavy trading after the company reported late Friday more than 89% revenue growth for the fiscal year 2025.

More than 14.8 million shares traded intraday, compared with a daily average of about 121,000.
