BUZZ-Australia's Lodestar Minerals rises to near 2-year high with Arizona rare-earths acquisition

** Shares of Australia's Lodestar Minerals LSR.AX rise as much as 51.3% to A$0.059, their highest level since January 15, 2024

** Stock marks its biggest intraday pct gain since June 30

** The diversified explorer says it has executed agreement to acquire Arizona Mountain Passage Heavy Rare Earths, which has binding option agreement to acquire the Virgin Mountain heavy rare earth project (Virgin Mountain) in Arizona from Globex Nevada

** Says Virgin Mountain is highly prospective because it contains high concentrations of the more valuable heavy rare-earth elements including Dysprosium, Terbium and Lutetium, others

** About 61.8 million shares change hands, 13.3x vs the 30-day average

** Stock last up ~17% with YTD gains of over 200%
