Net sales in the Americas segment totaled $290.6 million, increasing 3% from $281.9 million last year. Sales of WD-40 Multi-Use Product reached $478.0 million, an increase of 6% compared to $452.9 million in the prior year. WD-40 Specialist sales were $82.0 million, rising 11% from $73.9 million. Other maintenance products recorded sales of $31.0 million, nearly unchanged from $31.2 million. Homecare and cleaning products contributed $29.0 million in net sales, representing an 11% decrease from $32.5 million the previous year. Cost of products sold was $278.6 million, up 1% from $275.3 million. Gross profit rose 8% to $341.3 million from $315.2 million, while operating expenses increased 9% to $237.6 million from $218.9 million.
