Financial stocks were declining pre-bell Thursday, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.1% lower.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.3% higher.

S&P Global (SPGI) stock was up more than 3% after the company posted higher Q3 adjusted net income and revenue, and raised its 2025 outlook.
