Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) said its mining strategy at its first underground mine, Andy Well, located in Western Australia, for fiscal 2026 is to develop multiple ore levels within around 200 meters of surface across each of the Wilber, Judy, and Suzie lodes, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Access to the first ore development level, Wilber 1350, was established in September. Around 90 meters of ore development has been completed to date on the Wilber 1350 level, and grades have exceeded those predicted by the grade control model.

Three levels are being developed in ore, and four additional levels are planned to come online in the December quarter.

Wilber 1350 level ore development face grades include 4.4 meters at 14.8 grams-per-tonne grade of gold, 4.2 meters at 30.2 g/t grade of gold, and 4.2 meters at 22 g/t grade of gold.
