New China Life Insurance (HKG:1336, SHA:601336) recorded an 88% year-over-year rise in attributable profit in the third quarter of 2025 to 18.1 billion yuan, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The insurer's earnings per share stood at 5.79 yuan in the period, with total operating income for the three months rising 31% to 67.2 billion yuan.
For the nine months ended Sept. 30, attributable profit jumped 59% to 32.9 billion yuan, while operating income increased 28% to 137.3 billion yuan.
The improved results for the three quarters were due to a substantial growth in the firm's investment returns.
