Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said seven drill rigs were operational on site at the Rogozna gold and base metals project in Serbia during the September quarter, with three rigs focused on the Gradina deposit, one rig on the Shanac deposit, and three rigs on discovery drilling across the project area, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling continues to demonstrate the potential for both bulk-tonnage and higher-grade mineralization zones at the Shanac deposit and for expanding the Gradina mineralization footprint, the filing said.
The company also completed the sale of the Yandal project in Western Australia to Gateway Mining (ASX:GML).
Strickland Metals' shares rose nearly 4% in recent trading on Friday.
