CNOOC (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) recorded a 12% decline in attributable profit in the third quarter to 32.4 billion yuan, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The Chinese oil and gas producer's earnings per share stood at 0.68 yuan in the three months, with revenue jumping 5.7% to 104.9 billion yuan.
For the nine months ended Sept. 30, attributable profit fell 13% year over year to 102 billion yuan, while revenue slumped 4.1% to 312.5 billion yuan.
