OGE Energy Corp. reported earnings of $1.14 per diluted share for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to $1.09 per diluted share in the same period in 2024. Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E), the regulated electric utility subsidiary, contributed earnings of $1.20 per diluted share in the third quarter, up from $1.12 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2024. Other operations, which include the holding company, reported a loss of $0.06 per diluted share, compared to a loss of $0.03 per diluted share in the prior year period. The increase in net income from OG&E was primarily due to increased recovery of capital investments, partially offset by higher operation and maintenance expense, income tax expense, and milder weather. The net loss in other operations increased mainly due to unspecified factors. During the quarter, OGE Energy advanced construction of approximately 550 megawatts of new natural gas turbines, with additional capacity planned to address regional energy needs. The company noted it continues to maintain some of the lowest rates in the nation for its customers.
