Savara (SVRA) said late Friday it closed a public offering of about 28.5 million common shares at $4.20 apiece.

The offering included roughly 4.6 million shares sold through the full exercise of the underwriters' overallotment option.

Savara also issued pre-funded warrants to certain investors to purchase about 7.1 million common shares at $4.199 per warrant.

Gross proceeds from the offering totaled roughly $149.5 million before underwriting discounts and expenses, according to the company.
