Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) secured the pilot plant for the Samphire uranium project's field recovery trial at the South Australia site, with installation now underway, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Meanwhile, drilling of recovery well patterns for areas A and B is complete, and site civil works are progressing on schedule, the filing said.

Shares rose 4% in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
