DHC Software (SHE:002065) has invested 300 million yuan to establish an artificial intelligence research institute in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The Guangxi Southeast Artificial Intelligence Research Institute will be 90% owned by the company and 10% owned by its wholly owned subsidiary Beijing Donghua Hechuang Technology.
The software developer said it has selected Yulin City in Guangxi to leverage its locational advantages, policy support, and industrial foundation to expand its AI business.
