Gold X2 Mining Inc. has announced a significant update on the environmental baseline studies for its Moss Gold Project in Northwest Ontario, Canada. The studies, which began in 2021 and have expanded through 2025, are a key part of the company's strategy to de-risk the project from an environmental permitting perspective. Led by CSL Environmental & Geotechnical Ltd., the program emphasizes engagement with Indigenous Communities to ensure environmental and cultural considerations are integrated into project planning. Gold X2 expects to complete the baseline studies by the end of 2026 and plans to enter the formal permitting process with a feasibility study in 2027. The company aims to submit both Provincial and Federal Environmental Assessment applications in the third quarter of 2027, moving the project closer to regulatory approval.
