Aegis Logistics' (NSE:AEGISCHEM, BOM:500003) consolidated profit rose to 1.80 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30, from 1.26 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 5.12 rupees from 3.59 rupees a year earlier, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the logistics services provider.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q2 also increased to 22.9 billion rupees from 17.5 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
