ArcelorMittal (NL:MT): Europe's largest steelmaker said it was hopeful state support for the industry would boost business next year. Shares jumped nearly 4%. The European Union is considering measures including hefty tariffs to protect its steelmakers.
Nissan (JP:7201): The Japanese automaker posted a fifth straight quarterly loss, partly due to U.S. tariffs. Shares fell 1.7%.
