Savannah Goldfields (ASX:SVG) resumed gold production at the Georgetown gold processing plant, part of the Georgetown gold project in Queensland, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
A gold doré weighing around 1.5 kilograms was poured on Thursday following the re-commissioning of the gold room.
Milling operations at the plant resumed, with lower-grade material being fed into the mills initially and steady increases in feed rate planned until steady state and stable operating conditions are achieved.
The firm's shares rose 5% in recent trading on Friday.
