Entravision shares were 48% higher, at $2.92, after the company reported a third-quarter loss that was narrower than last year, and higher revenue.
The stock hit its 52-week high of $3.15 earlier in the Wednesday session, and is up 21% in the past 12 months.
The media and advertising technology company said it had a quarterly loss of $9.7 million, or 11 cents a share, compared with a loss of $12 million, or 12 cents a share, in the same quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter was $120.6 million, compared to last year's $97.2 million.
Entravision said revenue at its media segment declined 26% in the third quarter, primarily because of lower political revenue and weaker revenue from national television and radio advertisers. But revenue for its advertising technology & services segment increased 104%.
The company also repaid $5 million on its bank term loan in the third quarter, bringing its total reduction to $15 million so far for the year.
