Spark New Zealand (ASX:SPK, NZE:SPK) chairperson Justine Smyth said she would step down as chairperson and board member within the next 12 months, according to a Friday Radio New Zealand report.
Spark shareholders grilled the board following several years of poor performance, the report said.
Smyth said the firm was on track to deliver an underlying profit of a little over NZ$1 billion in fiscal year 2026, flat year-over-year, assuming the 75% sale of its data centers goes through.
