Live Nation Entertainment posted higher revenue in the third quarter as concert ticket sales continued to increase.

The live entertainment ticket provider on Tuesday posted a profit of $431.5 million, or 73 cents a share, in the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with $451.8 million, or $1.66 a share, a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $1.42 a share.

Revenue rose 11% to $8.50 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet forecast revenue of $8.57 billion. Sales from concerts gained 11%, ticketing was up 15% and sponsorship and advertising increased 13%.

Concert sales of $7.28 billion fell short of the consensus estimate of $7.39 billion.

Live Nation had strong demand and is attracting more fans internationally, Chief Executive Michael Rapino said. The company's global customer base is on track to surpass the U.S. for the first time.

Ticket sales for concerts in 2026 indicate there will be a double-digit percentage increase in the company's large venue show pipeline, he said. Concert ticket sales in 2025 are up 4% to 150 million customers and are tracking toward 160 million fans for the full year.
