China Industrial Securities International Financial (HKG:6058) unit CISI Investment acquired certain bonds worth $25 million for $25.5 million from the open market, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The bonds make up part of a $2.25 billion issue of 5.25% bonds by Verizon Communications falling due April 2, 2035.

The bonds were purchased for investment purposes.
