Dongfeng Motor's (HKG:0489) total production grew to 179,138 units in October from 140,791 units a year prior, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Sales rose to 184,257 units from 158,509 units in the year-ago period, according to the automaker.

In the 10 months ended Oct. 31, production and sales volume slid 0.1% and 1.6% year over year, respectively, to around 1.5 million units each.
