L1 Long Short Fund (ASX:LSF) reported net tangible assets after tax of AU$3.42 in October, up from AU$3.05 last year, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's market cap rose to AU$2.28 billion, up from AU$1.96 billion the previous year, the filing said.
The company believes that the Australian equity index is fully valued and several large capital stocks are trading above historical multiples and global peers, with several undervalued stocks offshore, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
