Guangzhou Automobile or GAC (HKG:2238, SHA:601238), Honda Motor (TYO:7267), and Honda China will contribute $326.2 million in additional capital to GAC Honda, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The total registered capital will rise to $867.2 million from $541 million.

GAC's share will comprise $433.6 million, while Honda Motor will contribute $346.9 million, and Honda China's share will be $86.7 million.

Upon completion of the capital increase, the three parties will keep their respective 50%, 40%, and 10% stakes in GAC Honda, the filing said.

The capital hike comes after jointly controlled entity GAC Honda purchased a 50% stake in Dongfeng Motor (HKG:0489) unit Dongfeng Honda Engine for 1.17 billion yuan.
