Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. has announced significant progress on its Phase-2 Matawinie Mine project, which aims to supply natural graphite to North American, European, and G7-allied markets. The company has secured multi-year offtake agreements and term sheets covering nearly 100% of the planned graphite production, including a 15,000 tonnes-per-annum take-or-pay commitment by the Government of Canada as part of a total 30,000 tpa framework. Project development is advancing through engineering, procurement, and financing activities, with due diligence and term sheet negotiations underway. The initiative is part of NMG's strategy to diversify its market reach across key sectors such as energy, defense, and manufacturing.
