Loop Industries Inc. has announced the execution of a multi-year offtake agreement with Nike, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Loop will supply Nike with Twist™, its branded, virgin-quality polyester resin made exclusively from textile waste. Nike will serve as the anchor customer for the Infinite Loop™ India manufacturing facility, a joint venture between Loop Industries and Ester Industries. The agreement aims to provide Nike with a verifiable textile-to-textile solution, supporting the company's efforts to reduce the use of both virgin and recycled flake polyester across its product lines. Loop's proprietary chemical tracer technology will provide full traceability of the recycled content in the polyester resin.
