China Merchants Land Ltd. has announced the acquisition of 100% equity interest in Nanjing Merchants Qisheng Property Development Limited, a company established in the PRC and principally engaged in the construction and development of a real estate project. The project is situated on lots 1 and 2, west of phase 2 of Jing Wu Road, Maigaoqiao Street, Qixia District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, with a total site area of 65,998.44 square metres. The land is designated for both residential and commercial use, with respective land use terms of 70 and 40 years. The acquisition was made through an equity transfer agreement between Nanjing Zhaoping, an indirect subsidiary of China Merchants Land, and CITIC Securities, the scheme manager of the asset-backed securities scheme.
