Beetaloo Energy Australia (ASX:BTL) has installed flow testing equipment at its Carpentaria-5H well, enabling the initial production over 30 days (IP30) test to commence, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The IP30 test is set to deliver crucial performance data to inform future well design and aid pilot production, with results anticipated in December, per the filing.
The test was delayed due to the late arrival of third-party equipment, previously in use by another operator, the filing added.
The company's shares fell 6% in recent Monday trade.
