NBCC (India) (NSE:NBCC, BOM:534309) has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) contract worth 29.7 billion Indian rupees by the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority, according to a Wednesday filing.

The project is for the development of Naveen Nagpur (Phase-1) and will be executed under the supervision of NBCC as PMC, the filing said.

Shares of the company fell nearly 2% in Thursday's trade.
