USA Rare Earth, Inc. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Less Common Metals $(LCM)$, has formed a strategic partnership with Solvay to supply rare earth metals to Permag, a company specializing in high-precision magnets and magnetic assemblies. Under the agreement, LCM will use Solvay's concentrated and separated Samarium oxides to produce Samarium materials. These materials will be supplied to Permag to support the production of Samarium magnets over the next three to five years. The partnership aims to reinforce the supply chain for rare earth materials in Europe and for Permag's global customers.
