Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) said assays for infill drilling at the Theia deposit, part of the Mandilla gold project in Western Australia, confirmed consistent broad zones of high-grade mineralization, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of six meters at 7.77 grams per tonne grade of gold from 86 meters, as well as 25 meters at 3.2 g/t grade of gold from 44 meters.
It said there was a strong correlation between the assays with the mineral resource estimate model within the first stage prefeasibility study pit.
It is currently conducting a 3,000-meter diamond drilling program at Theia, with four holes completed for 997 meters to date.
