Marmota (ASX:MEU) said the second stage of drilling started at the Gawler Craton gold project's Greenewood gold discovery in South Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The program will consist of around 85 reverse circulation drill holes for around 8,500 meters, the filing said. The drilling is expected to continue throughout the rest of November and December.
Marmota's shares jumped past 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
