Bank of Communications (HKG:3328, SHA:601328) completed the issuance of 30 billion yuan of four-year fixed-rate bonds on Nov. 14, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Shares of the lender were down 1% in Monday afternoon trading.
The bonds comprise 26 billion yuan of fixed-rate bonds carrying a 1.93% coupon rate and 4 billion yuan of floating rate bonds with a coupon rate of 1.94% for the first distribution rate adjustment period and a fixed spread of 0.46%.
The bank will use proceeds from the issue to improve its total loss-absorbing capacity.
