GrainCorp (ASX:GNC) reported total grain receivals of 4.8 million tonnes at its up-country sites in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria as of Nov. 17, according to a Monday statement.
The company said that winter harvest activity is winding down in Queensland, with the final receivals largely comprising wheat and chickpeas in the Goondiwindi region.
Receivals remained consistent in New South Wales despite brief weather-related disruptions. All regions are harvesting in southern New South Wales.
Wet and cooler weather slowed harvest progress in Victoria last week.
Its shares rose over 2% in recent trading on Monday.
