Syrah Resources (ASX:SYR) secured an agreement with the US International Development Finance (DFC) in connection with its loan to support the Balama graphite operation in Mozambique, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's Twigg Exploration and Mining subsidiary will receive a further $8.5 million disbursement from the loan, the filing said.
The loan balance will be $68 million following completion of the disbursement.
DFC also agreed to defer the payment of interest and related fees to May 15, 2026, according to the filing.
