Jacobs Solutions Inc. has been selected by PsiQuantum as the Owner's Representative for a new quantum computing facility at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park in Chicago. The project, which began construction in September, will initially include the development of an intermediate-scale test system to validate quantum architecture and performance. Subsequent phases will focus on building the first utility-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer in the United States. Jacobs will provide end-to-end support across design and construction, furthering its role in advancing quantum computing infrastructure.
