Boise Cascade has reached an agreement to acquire Humphrey Company, Inc. (doing business as Holden Humphrey), a leading two-step distributor of building materials based in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Holden Humphrey, which reported approximately $145 million in revenue over the last 12 months, serves lumber dealers and one-step distributors across New England, New York, and New Jersey, with a focus on specialty products such as siding, wood decking, and trim. The acquisition will expand Boise Cascade's distribution presence in the northeast region, strengthen distribution partnerships with brands like James Hardie®, CertainTeed, and Henry®, and broaden the company's product line in the area. The transaction is expected to close in December 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.
